Pay:
Starts at $17 per hour, with an increase after 90 days based on consistent performance
Hours:
6am – 3pm
About Us:
Taste of Puebla Inc. is a family-owned business specializing in authentic Mexican cuisine. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, handmade products and catering services to our community. We are looking for an experienced kitchen cook to join our team and contribute to our growing success.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Mexican dishes according to Taste of Puebla’s recipes and standards.
- Ensure consistency and quality in every dish served.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation for catering events.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to meet daily production goals.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels.
- Provide input on menu development and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine and cooking technique preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be available to work from 6am – 3pm, Monday through Friday.
